1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a registration for any Quest Events Pty Ltd event, whether online, by email, by telephone, through a sales representative, or by any other means, the registrant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
The person completing the registration warrants that they have authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of themselves and, where applicable, their employer, organisation, or any attendee named in the registration.
If a registration is submitted on behalf of another person or organisation, the person submitting the registration confirms that they are authorised to bind that person or organisation to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Registration and Payment Obligations
Submission of a registration constitutes a binding commitment to attend the event and to pay all applicable fees.
All registration fees are payable in full regardless of attendance, non-attendance, cancellation, internal approval processes, changes in employment, budget constraints, travel restrictions, or any other circumstance affecting the attendee or their organisation.
Failure to attend an event does not release the attendee, registrant or their organisation from the obligation to pay any outstanding fees.
3. Attendee Cancellation Policy
All registrations are final and non-refundable.
No refunds, credits, or cancellations will be granted for attendee cancellations or non-attendance.
Where payment has not yet been made, including registrations electing to pay via invoice or EFT, the full invoiced amount remains due and payable in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
If an attendee is unable to attend, a substitute delegate may attend in their place at no additional charge, provided written notification is received by Quest Events prior to the commencement of the event.
Quest Events will provide event documentation to attendees who have paid in full but are unable to attend, where such documentation is available. This may include presentation materials, recordings, or on-demand access for online-only events for 12 months. Certain speakers may restrict distribution of their papers or presentations.
4. Attendee Amendment Policy
Registration downgrades are not permitted.
Registrations may be upgraded at any time, subject to payment of any applicable additional fees.
5. Sharing of Passes
Registrations are issued to individual attendees and may not be shared.
Each registration permits attendance by one person only unless otherwise agreed in writing by Quest Events.
6. Event Changes, Postponement and Cancellation
Quest Events reserves the right to alter event programs, speakers, venues, schedules, formats, delivery methods, or other event content at any time without notice.
Where an event is postponed, registrations will automatically transfer to the rescheduled event date.
Quest Events may, at its sole discretion, offer a substitute delegate, registration transfer, event credit, or alternative arrangement where an attendee cannot attend the rescheduled event.
If Quest Events cancels an event, registrants will be entitled to a refund of fees paid for that event only.
Quest Events shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect losses, including travel costs, accommodation expenses, loss of profits, business interruption, or other expenses arising from event changes, postponements, substitutions, format changes, or cancellations.
7. Force Majeure
Quest Events shall not be liable for any delay, modification, postponement, interruption, or cancellation of an event arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, public health emergencies, pandemic events, venue closures, industrial disputes, telecommunications failures, technology disruptions, power outages, or any other force majeure event.
Where such circumstances occur, Quest Events may modify, postpone, reschedule, relocate, convert to an online format, or cancel the event without liability.
8. Group Bookings
To qualify for any group booking discount, all attendees must be employed by the same organisation or included on the same invoice, registrations must be submitted at the same time, the booking must be processed as a single transaction, and payment must be made in one payment.
Quest Events reserves the right to withdraw discounted pricing where these requirements are not met.
9. Payment Terms
For standard attendee registrations, payment must be received within seven (7) days of invoice issue unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing by Quest Events.
For registrations made within seven (7) days of the event commencement date, payment is due immediately upon registration.
Quest Events reserves the right to refuse admission where payment has not been received in full.
Commercial sponsorships, partnerships, and exhibition packages remain subject to the payment provisions contained in the relevant sponsorship, exhibition or partnership agreement.
10. Overdue Accounts and Debt Recovery
Any invoice not paid by the due date shall be deemed overdue.
Quest Events reserves the right to suspend or cancel registrations, refuse event admission, withhold event materials or access credentials, and refer outstanding accounts to debt collection agencies, solicitors, or legal representatives.
The registrant and/or their organisation agree to indemnify Quest Events for all reasonable costs incurred in recovering overdue amounts, including collection agency fees, legal fees on a solicitor-client basis, court filing fees, enforcement costs, skip tracing fees, and any other recovery-related expenses.
Quest Events may also claim interest on overdue amounts at the rate prescribed under applicable New South Wales legislation.
11. Commercial Sponsors and Partners
Commercial sponsors, exhibitors, and partners are additionally bound by the terms of their sponsorship, exhibition, or partnership agreement.
Where there is any inconsistency, the sponsorship, exhibition or partnership agreement will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
12. Privacy
By registering for a Quest Events event, attendees consent to Quest Events collecting, storing, and using their personal information for event administration, event communications, customer service, marketing activities, and other related business purposes.

Quest Events will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
13. Photography, Filming and Recording

Quest Events will take reasonable steps to accommodate the request but cannot guarantee that an attendee will not be captured incidentally in group photographs, crowd images, video footage or recordings.
Where an attendee has requested not to be photographed or recorded, Quest Events will make reasonable efforts not to use identifiable images of that attendee in future promotional materials.
14. Third-Party Communications
